Description
New FPGA Technologies (like XILINX Series 7 FPGAs) provide new and elegant approaches for high speed DAQ systems. High speed transceivers with data rates of more than 10Gbit/s and new scalable internal bus systems simplify these developments.
Our group is working together with KIT on the development of a versatile DAQ card in the µTCA / AMC standard.
This talk will give an overview about the current developments and an outlook to possible future activities.
