Description

The Steinbuch Centre for Computing is hosting an introductory level topical course on HPC with python for (future) users of the NHR@KIT infrastructure incl. the tier 2 HPC cluster HoreKa on November 17, 2021,. The course covers adapting code to and writing code for an HPC environment in python using for example mpi4py. In addition, it introduces possibilities for tasked based parallelism at the example of dask. The course will be given by Ivan Kondov.

Participants are expected to already have some prior experience with python.

The course will take place virtually. No course fees apply.
