Description
The workshop is intended as a kick-off meeting for the PhD students and post-doctoral researchers of the Helmholtz Analytics Framework (HAF). In the get-together you will be able to meet your new colleagues and exchange thoughts about your projects. Furthermore, the two-day workshop sessions will introduce you to commonly used data analysis methods already employed in the partaking domain sciences. Additionally, the speakers will also present other approaches that might be worthwhile to explore during the research collaboration. Small hands-on experiments are going to demonstrate, how the presented data analysis methods may be used in practice. We are proud to announce the following confirmed speakers: M. Denker (FZJ): Sequence Mining H. Elbern (FZJ): Data Assimilation M. Götz (KIT): Clustering K. Krajsek (FZJ): Hyperparameter Optimization M. Siggel (DLR): Classification We are looking forward to meet you!
