Present and Future Monitoring Solutions
Pedro Andrade (CERN IT) graduated at the University of Porto where he obtained his degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering in 2003. From 2003 to 2004 he worked in the same faculty for the GridPT project developing desktop computing systems for the High Energy Physics community. Since 2004 he has been working at CERN IT department in projects related to grid computing and monitoring. After some years involved in EU-funded projects (such as DILIGENT, D4Science, D4Science-II) working on scientific data infrastructures he joined WLCG monitoring team where he contributes to the Service Availability Monitoring service and leads its service operations. Pedro has recently joined CERN's Agile Infrastructure project which is trying to improve the way fabric management is done at CERN by coordinating the monitoring area.
