Laptops
In order to maximize your learning experience, we strongly recommend that you bring your own laptop to the school. It should be equipped with ssh-client and wireless networking.

If you are a student or member of an educational institute, most probably you can use the eduroam network, which will allow you to log into the KIT wireless network immediately.

Some tutorials will use Virtual Box for pre-configured virtual machines.

Visa requirements
The participants from outside the EU probably require a visa to travel to Germany. If you need the official letter of invitation, please contact us GridKa-School@scc.kit.edu.
