Main Collaboration Meeting

As usual we will have our 2 1/2 day main meeting covering the status of the setup, strategic devolpements and data analysis. Proposals for talks have to be sent to markus.steidl@kit.edu and katharina.fischer@kit.edu. The deadline for registration and submission of presentations is Friday 18th September.

Also as usual, we will have plenary and parallel sessions. Speaker times in plenary sessions are between 20 and 30 minutes and in the parallel sessions around 15 minutes. Details depend on the number of announced talks.

Forward Beam Monitoring Workshop

The Forward Beam Monitoring Workshop reviews the status of the hardware setup and discusses the next steps. If you want to participate, please set the corresponding tick in the registration mask and/or contact Stephanie Hickford under hickford@uni-wuppertal.de.

SDS II B Workshop

The workshop deepens the details of simulations and analysis with regard to the recent measuring campaign. In extension to the CM it will analyse more in detail the way forward. If you want to participate, please set the corresponding tick in the registration mask and/or contact Florian Fraenkle under florian.fraenkle@kit.edu. The workshop is on Wednesday afternoon.

Condensed Krypton Source Review

We hold a comprehensive design review of the Condensed Krypton source, in which the motivation, the general design, specific construction issues and the integration into the KATRIN beamline are discussed. In fact, the meeting is by invitation but if you are interested please contact Markus Steidl. The meeting is on Thursday.

Software and Analysis Workshop

This workshop is intended as a follow-up of the Software and Analysis Workshop held in Münster in the beginning of September. The major discussion items will be data preparation for neutrino mass analysis, overall systematics budget, optimization of measurement (scanning) and analysis energy windows, and preparation of early physics runs with the integrated KATRIN setup.
