We invite you to participate in the upcoming 7th bwHPC Symposium on November 8th, 2021. The conference will take place online and focuses on the presentation of scientific projects and success stories carried out with the help of bwHPC high performance computing as well as the BaWü data federation. The event offers a unique opportunity to engage in an active dialog between the scientists, operators of the bwHPC services, and members of the bwHPC-S5 support centers.

Details about talks / poster sessions

We strongly recommend to use the latest Zoom client.

  • The regular talks will take place in the "main Zoom session". Each contributor will present the talk via Zoom screen sharing. Therefore you can use your own presentation program.
  • Electronic posters will be presented in so called "Zoom breakout rooms" via Zoom screen sharing. Each poster gets it's own breakout room. You can use any presentation program you like. You can choose between showing an A0 poster or you can present a regular A4 talk. If you present a real A0 poster you should make sure that your presentation program can quickly zoom in and out.
  • The conference room will open at 8:45 AM. This is 30 minutes earlier than the official start of the conference. There you can get help with technical problems, send us PDFs for your posters/talks and test Zoom, for example screen sharing.

Please send the PDF of your A0/A4 poster to the conference email best the day before the conference starts.

The posters will be available for download during the conference, so the participants can read the posters at their own pace and then ask specific questions in the poster session.

You can also send the PDF of your talk to the conference email. Then we can help you quickly when the screen sharing does not work.
