Python, R, Scala, Spark, etc.... Open Source cannot be thought away from education, research and industrial practice in the area of Analytics. Universities can hardly cover the demand for those skills, particularly good expertise in that area is one side of the medal. The other is domain knowledge in the particular industry. Getting both together in the appropriate quality is very rare. Bringing both working close together – the promising solution. The presentation will show how IBM is addressing this with Watson Data Platform.
