Travel
The most convenient airport to reach Karlsruhe is Frankfurt am Main. An ICE to Karlsruhe will leave every hour directly from the airport's "Fernbahnhof (Long Distance Trains)". Timetables and online booking are available from Deutsche Bahn.
From Karlsruhe main station (Hauptbahnhof) there are several connections (e.g. tram No 2 direction "Wolfartsweier Nord") to tram stop "Kronenplatz", which is closest to the physics highrise. Please check the timetable on the KVV pages.
The meeting will take place in the physics highrise (Physikhochhaus, Geb. 30.23), seminar room 6-1 (6th floor) at the South Campus of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Many of the suggested hotels are in easy walking distance.

Accomodation
A list of hotels can be found here. Hotel am Markt or Hotel Erbprinzenhof are very convenient. Hotel Markgräfler Hof is also close and perhaps a bit more quiet. A limited number of rooms is available at the university guest house (Gastdozentenhaus), please indicate in the registration form and contract our secretary Ms Weiss to make an arrangement (only available until the end of August).
