On Thusday after Lunch there is a time slot for guided tours through up to two KIT facilities. During registration you could select between 5 options:
KATRIN
Tritium Laboratory Karlsruhe
GridKa
KARA / FLUTE / KITTEN
Auger / IceCube / CMS.
If you selected one or two options, you were assigned to these tours, otherwise two of your choices were selected. You can find the options you were assigned to on your name tag/ conference badge.
The tours start on Thursday at 13:30, directly after lunch, groups and guides meet in front of the canteen, GoogleMaps. If you are an external participant please stay inside the restricted area during lunch break so you can reach the meeting point.
From there you will head for your tour. Afterwards you will be transferred to your second tour and finally brought back to the FTU for the coffee break.
