Public transport: The main bus stop near IISAS is Patronka, with numerous bus connections and a 10-minute walk to IISAS. Bus tickets can be purchased from ticket machines at the bus stops, costing 0.9 EUR for a 30-minute trip. Remember to stamp the tickets when boarding.
Taxi: If you choose to take a taxi, it is strongly recommended to install the Bolt app on your smartphone and order a taxi through the app. This way, you can secure better prices fixed in advance and avoid communication issues. A ride from the city center to IISAS would cost around 5 EUR via Bolt. Uber also operates in Bratislava but with fewer taxis.

Hotels: Hotel Max Inn is a good option within walking distance (15 minutes) from IISAS, but you may prefer to stay in the city center, which offers more restaurants and pubs.

Most international flight connections to Bratislava are via Vienna International Airport (VIE), located approximately 60 km from Bratislava.
From Vienna international airport to Bratislava
By bus: There are regular bus connections, operated by different companies, from VIE to Bratislava with intervals of 15-30 minutes. The trips take around 45-60 minutes and cost 8-15 EUR. Tickets may be purchased at the office near the exit or from the bus driver.
By taxi: For small groups, it may be convenient to book a taxi from Bratislava that will wait for you at the airport gate exit with your name tag and take you directly to your hotel in Bratislava. The taxi would cost 60-80 EUR (maximum 4 persons, one-way, fixed price, booked in advance). Simply search on Google for "taxi from Vienna Airport to Bratislava" and choose a service.
