The 3rd and final workshop of the ANR-DFG project UltraSync on the exploration and control of electron bunch dynamics in synchrotron light sources will be held at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany on Wednesday 29.11. and Thursday 30.11.2023.

The venue is the large seminar room of the KARA hall (north-west side), building 348, 1st floor, Institute of Beam Physics and Technology at KIT, Campus North, Hermann-von-Helmholtz-Platz 1, 76344 Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen, Germany.
The workshop will devote time to discussions and presentations. Therefore we expect participants to not only report some accomplished results, but also show some unsolved problems and thus stimulate discussion and synergy between groups. We also offer a short visit of the EO lab at KARA on Thursday.
Arrival at KIT Campus North:
Campus north is a fenced and guarded area. You need a pass to enter. When you arrive at the south entrance of Campus North (Hermann-von-Helmholtz-Platz 1, 76344 Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen, Germany, Google maps link) you need to first go to the building "Anmeldung" on the right hand side, where you need to show your passport or national ID and you will get a pass for the week. You need this pass to enter the campus. Then please go to the KARA hall, building 348. On the north-west side of the building is the entrance, go up the stairs to reach the large seminar room.
Please take your passport or national ID card with you.
Workshop dinner:
There will be a workshop dinner on Wednesday 29.11. evening at the Ritter restaurant (Au in den Buchen 73, 76646 Bruchsal-Büchenau) at 18:30.
