A room block has been secured at the Dorint Hotel in Düren (Moltkestraße 35, 52351 Düren) for conference participants, as other hotels in the area are fully booked. We strongly encourage you to reserve your stay at the Dorint Hotel by September 9th to ensure accommodation during the event. The following room rates are available (limited availability):
- Standard Room – €119.00 per room/night, including breakfast
- Comfort Room – €129.00 per room/night, including breakfast
- Comfort Room with Balcony – €139.00 per room/night, including breakfast
If you do not wish to have breakfast, please inform the hotel at least two weeks before your arrival. The breakfast cost of €9.00 will then be refunded to you.
Individual reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. For cancellations made later or in the case of no-shows, 90% of the booked services will be charged as a processing fee.
A shuttle service from the Dorint Hotel to the Jülich Research Center will be provided. Please register for the Shuttle service within your registration to MSE Day 2024. The number of seats at the shuttle are limited.
If you choose another hotel or the shuttle is already fully booked, there are reasonable bus/train connections to Forschungszentrum Jülich. By regional train (RB21, direction Linnich Bf, every 30 minutes) from Düren train station to Jülich Forschungszentrum. From there you can take bus 219 (every 15 minutes) or a 15 minutes walk (1,3 km) to the gate of Forschungszentrum Jülich.
