- No hybrid baseplate laminated this week so far. Work on that today.
- New baseplates:
- Need to measure them.
- Look for copper impurities and try to remove them. If not possible, contact the provider?
- Jay will be probably back mid October and will focus on the database.
- Yi-Mu is strting mid October and will focus on quality control (former Felix project).
- The tape to be put on top of the kapton has been ordered for the full plate production. Also for full plates, we have a HD and LD design.
- Validate properties of full glue procedure: test shear (and peel) force that small pieces (0.5cm x 0.5 cm) of material can sustain:
- Ti and CuW
- 30 and 50 micron glue layers
- on rough and not rough surfaces
