Abstract:
To learn more about the sources of ultra-high-energy cosmic rays, the data measured by the Pierre Auger Observatory can be compared to predictions of astrophysical models. Using energy spectrum and mass composition data as well as large-scale and intermediate scale anisotropies, quantities like the density and distribution of UHECR sources, the source emission or the contributions of nearby source candidates can be constrained. In this presentation, I will summarize and discuss these results, including also the effect of updated models of the Galactic magnetic field.
