The most convenient airport to reach Karlsruhe is Frankfurt am Main. An ICE to Karlsruhe will leave every hour directly from the airport's "Fernbahnhof (Long Distance Trains)".
The meeting will take place in the physics highrise (Physikhochhaus, Geb. 30.23), seminar room 6-1 (6th floor) at the South Campus of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Many of the suggested hotels are in easy walking distance.

A list of hotels can be found here. Hotel am Markt is very convenient. Hotel Markgräfler Hof is also close and perhaps a bit more quiet. No more rooms are available in the university guest house (Gastdozentenhaus), your preference in the registration form will be ignored.
