How to reach Schloss Karlsruhe – Gartensaal
Karlsruhe Castle is located in the city center close to KIT Campus South and can easily be reached by public transport. There are various ways to get there by tram from Karlsruhe central train station: Tram line 2 or 4, tram line S1 or S11. The exact times of departure are available on the website of the Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund:

Trams operate in 5-minute intervals; traveling time is 8 to 10 minutes. Exit the tram at stop "Marktplatz", from there the castle can be reached in a 5-min walk. Our meeting will take place in the Gartensaal of the “Castle”. After entering the main entrance "Badisches Landesmuseum" you will find it on the left.
Please note:
Because of construction work at "Ettlinger Tor", trains have to be diverted.

How to reach by car
Take A 5 direction Frankfurt/Basel or A 8 direction Stuttgart/Mannheim Frankfurt. After leaving the motorway you follow the road signs "Zentrum"/ "Schloss" to the “Badisches Landesmuseum”. There is an underground parking in front of the castle
"Schlossplatz-Tiefgarage" which is open 24 hours a day.
