The cooperativ research workshop "Particles and the Universe" aims to enhance the contacts between KIT and Chinese scientists in the field of elementary particle physics, astroparticle physics and related technologies.

This Workshop is supported by the DAAD project "Strategische Partnerschaften für gemeinsame Innovationen – KIT in der Provinz Jiangsu und Shanghai".

Hotel rooms are booked in the Hotel Eden for all Chinese participants from September 5 to September 9: http://eden-ka.de/en/ Transfer from Frankfurt airport to Karlsruhe is easy by train. The train (ICE) runs nearly every hour and takes about one hour. The hotel is within walking distance to the main station. (more details see left under "travel information")
