Travel
The most convenient airport to reach Karlsruhe is Frankfurt am Main, with many international connections. Trains to Karlsruhe (Karlsruhe Hbf) departure every hour directly from the train station in the airport "Frankfurt(M) Flughafen Fernbf (Long Distance Trains)". Timetables and online booking are available from Deutsche Bahn.
Other close-by airports are Stuttgart (STR) or Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden (FKB).
For public transport in Karlsruhe, there are different tram options departing from the main station "Hbf Vorplatz". Timetables and map can be found here: KVV webpage, map. Tickets can be bought at machines at the tram stop.
Conference venue
The Invisibles 18 Workshop will take place at KIT Campus South, in NTI lecture hall, building 30.10. See here for further information on directions. If you come by public transport choose the tram stop Kronenplatz.
Wireless LAN at KIT
For a wireless network connection you can use EDUROAM or the public network KA-WLAN. The latter is the free Wifi of the city of Karlsruhe and no registration is needed. More information can be found here.

Here is a list of trains from the main station (Hbf Vorplatz) to Kronenplatz:
- S1/S11 direction Hochstetten/Neureut
- S4 direction Tullastraße/Heilbronn/Bretten.
- Tram 7 and Tram 8 direction Tullastraße.
- Tram 2 direction Wolfartsweier
- Tram 4 direction Waldstadt
