The Natural Sciences Campus ("Institutsviertel") is only 10 minutes walking distance from Freiburg’s main train station. From the train station's 'city center' exit turn left immediately onto Bismarckallee. Cross Friedrichstrße and continue straight on Stefan-Meier-Straße. Turn the first street (for cars) right into the Albertstraße. After the Chemistry high rise turn left and walk until you reach the parking spaces, then turn right. Walk between the two physics buildings until you reach the conference room.
Alternatively on Stefan-Meier-Straße turn the second street (for cars) right into the Hermann-Herder-Straße. On the left side you will see the Rechenzentrum Hermann-Herder-Straße 10. Use the directions for "route from the Rechenzentrum" from there.
Arrival by car
Exit: "Freiburg Mitte" - then exit "Hauptbahnhof" - Schnewlinstrasse - drive by the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) - Stefan-Meier-Strasse; use off-campus parking spaces.
Arriving by airplane
Approx. 1 hour bus ride from the EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg; 2 to 3 hours by train or car from Strasbourg, Stuttgart, or Frankfurt airports.
