Coffee and lunch will be served in the foyer outside the lecture hall.
Social dinner:
A social dinner will take place on Thursday of the meeting at 18.30 at Marianne's Flammkuchen (Kriegsstraße 300). To get there by public transport, you can take a tram to the stop “Kühler Krug” and walk down to the Alb and take a right, along the Alb and away from the main road, to find the restaurant. The lines S2, S5, S12, S51, 3, 4, and 5 all stop here.
Flammkuchen is a specialty of the region and at Marianne’s Flammkuchen you can find any kind of flammkuchen you can imagine, savoury or sweet, vegetarian or vegan.

The deadline for booking accomodation at ACHAT hotel or Hotel Erbprinzenhof has passed. We can therefore not guarentee you a room or rate at either of these hotels. You are still welcome to contact them to inquire if a reservation is possible.

Reimbursement:
The reimbursement will happen through KIT and the reimbursement forms will be distributed during the meeting. All you need is to bring the receipts (or proof of bank transfer) from e.g. your accommodation and travel expenses. Please bring this in original or paper copy (i.e. not digital) on either of the days of the meeting.
You do not need to fill out every box, so please take a look at this file and fill out the highlighted boxes - all except the Reise-Nr. as this will be done during processing of the forms. Remember to check the "Gastvortrag" box and the "Teilerstattung". You will be reimbursed for the accomodation and travel expenses only. Box Nr. 10 is a reminder to also submit your hotel and travel receipts. Please ignore the drawn box at the bottom of the first page.
It is ideal if you hand in all your receipts along with the reimbursement form during the meeting (to one of the Young Scientists Representatives). This will speed up the reimbursement process. If you have electronic receipts or similar, you can send your receipts to the CRC secretary at tatjana.gordeeva@kit.edu. It is important to note that you will still need to hand in the reimbursement form in original paper form during the meeting.

Parking at KIT:
The campus is closed off for public vehicles and special permission is needed to park on campus. However, there is a free parking lot close to the lecture hall called Waldparkplatz (you may also be lucky to find free spots on Adenauerring).
