Excursion to ASTRON (Netherlands) 6-7.09.18
This year, the KSETA excursion will visit the Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy ASTRON. We will have a chance to talk to the experts at the experimental site and broaden our knowledge about radio astronomy :)

IMPORTANT
Transport
We will travel to Spier on Thursday (06.09.2018) by bus. There will be 2 meeting points:
13.45 at Campus South (in front of Gerthsen-Hörsaal, in front of building 30.21)
14.00 at Campus North (in front of main gate, Campus Nord Südtor)
We will start travelling back to Karlsruhe (to Campus South and Karlsruhe Main Station) on Friday's evening.

Travel Costs and Travel form
The travel costs will be fully paid by KSETA. Nevertheless, all participants have to fill in a travel form for insurance reasons. You can find the KSETA travel form here. Please fill in the upper part of the form and get it signed by the head of your institute.

Dinners
On Thursday
During the travelling to Netherlands (around 6 p.m. ) we will stop to have some dinner.
On Friday
We will have time for dinner before departure (around 6-7 p.m.).

Remember to bring jackets, umbrellas and comfortable shoes! It will be rainy and windy over there.
